TravelAlert offers a 30-day free trial before any charge, and a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription charge — on either the Essential or Voyager tier, monthly or yearly. You can cancel, switch plans or toggle auto-renewal at any time from your account.

1. Seller and Merchant of Record

TravelAlert is operated by ArtMind Global LLC (Florida, USA). Payments and refunds are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). All refund requests are handled through Paddle.

2. 30-day free trial

New users get a 30-day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. You are only charged if you actively choose to subscribe to a paid plan (Essential or Voyager, monthly or yearly) — either before the trial ends or after it expires. If you do nothing, you will not be charged.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee (first paid charge)

If you subscribe to a paid TravelAlert plan and change your mind, you may request a full refund of your first paid charge within 14 days of that charge. This satisfies the EU/UK consumer right of withdrawal for digital services where you have already started using the Service.

4. After the 14-day window

After the 14-day window on your first charge, and for all subsequent renewal charges, the subscription is non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons. This is reasonable because:

  • You had 30 days of full access during the free trial to evaluate the Service.
  • You had a further 14 days after your first charge to request a refund.
  • You can cancel at any time — cancellation stops future renewals immediately and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Partial or pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a billing period are not issued, except where required by applicable law.

5. Exceptions — refunds we will always honour

We will issue a refund outside the 14-day window in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charge caused by a billing error.
  • Charge after cancellation — if you were billed after a confirmed cancellation.
  • Material service failure — if the Service was substantially unavailable for an extended period and we were unable to remedy it.
  • Unauthorised use of your payment method — once verified by Paddle.
  • Any other case where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.

6. How to request a refund

The fastest way to request a refund is through Paddle, our Merchant of Record:

  • Go to paddle.net and enter the email address used at checkout. You will find your order and a refund request option there.
  • Or email us at support@travelalert.world with your order email and approximate purchase date, and we will help process your request through Paddle.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Cancellation, auto-renewal and plan changes (separate from refunds)

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or from the Paddle customer portal linked in your receipt emails. Cancellation stops future renewals; you will keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You may also turn auto-renewal off and back on at any time, and switch between tiers (Essential ↔ Voyager) or billing cycles (monthly ↔ yearly) — plan changes take effect immediately and Paddle applies a prorated charge or credit for the remainder of the current billing period.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us or Paddle first — we will always try to resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending review.
